"Woe is me….."
It is impossible to worship and grasp The Mighty God’s Presence and not be changed. When we hear and see Him in the scriptures, He not only reveals Himself, but He also reveals us to ourselves. The result is, “Woe is me.” We realize we are in very serious trouble. We are falling far short…We are done.
God speaks to our hearts and minds because He loves us, and He wants us to be blessed. He wants us to experience His glory and obey Him. He wants us to serve Him in a way that is not only pleasing to Him but will cause others to know Him and His great forgiveness and purpose for them.
That is all fine and good, but wait a minute! Satan comes and says: “You can’t do that, you can’t be God’s great servant." He tells us, “You’re not good enough, smart enough, creative enough and certainly not disciplined enough." Oh, but we read in Philippians 4:13,19 the wonderful words of Paul. He says, "yes you can." God’s Word is true, and it should be taken seriously with a humble and thankful heart.
Really, isn’t it time for you to step out into your faith and trust in God and His trust in you? The answer is “Yes."
Bless His Holy Name, All for our Lord an Savior, Jesus Christ.
